Pandemic notes; 8.25 Covidiots and Silent Movies

Pandemic notes eight and a quarter. Another brief interjection in my chronicling of the semi-great pandemic of 2020–2, referencing covidiots and silent movies.

Eva Bartlett is still doing the covidiot thing. About a year ago now she out of the blue put out a ‘covid is a conspiracy against civil rights’ article. It seems to have cost her a big chunk of her readership and she was upset about that. Until then she had been a pretty good ‘on the ground’ source of information about the middle east.

I delivered a sound scolding over twitter about this behaviour. She blocked me on twitter. I laid some snarkiness into her Wordpress comments box hoping she would stop sending that as well. She did not.

In fact I am unable to stop receiving blog notices from her and another covidiot I had previously subscribed to. I went into the Wordpress website and it indicates I am not subscribed to their blogs anymore. Somehow I keep getting their stuff.

Recently Eva has been sticking to war stuff, mostly in the middle east. Then just lately she contaminated my in box with another rant against public health in Canada. She wanted to know when the famously volatile Canadian populace would rise up against the evil forces of…hm. These covidiots are always a little vague about who is behind the fiendish plot to…
